Templeton Terrace vs. Buffalo Launch Club

I have two main criteria for my ceremony/reception location: beautiful water/landscape and good location for out of towners. I've narrowed it down to the Skyline room (smaller room) at Templeton Terrace (aka Shanghai Reds) and the Buffalo Launch Club. Has anyone had their ceremony AND reception at either place and have some pictures to show? My wedding will have about 100-120 people and I want to see what these places look like when they have people in them and are set up. You can e-mail pics to waterwedding@hotmail.com

Do you still have to know some one to sponsor you or be a member of the Buffalo launch club in order to have a wedding reception there?

I am having my reception at templeton landing and it is absolutely beautiful. One bad experience is not something to make a decision on. If it is like pearl street then I am even more jazzed as I have been to a reception at pearl street and it was amazing.

I just got married at the Buffalo Launch Club on August 7th. It was the most beautiful setting imaginable. People are still talking about it. As for the staff, you could not ask for a better group of people to work with. They were wonderful and took care of all the little details. Good Luck to you in your upcoming wedding!

You are making a big mistake if you go to Templeton Terrace AKA Shanghai Reds. My friend just had their wedding there and they were horrible. The bar was slow as can be and the red headed bartender was a capital B. They have bands playing everywhere just like Pearl street that go over to the reception area and distract everything. I looked at both Pearl st and Shanghai Reds & I would not waste the money. If I were you I would do the Bflo launch club.
