walking down the aisle

So Im curious of what everyone else walked down the aisle to or plans on (Im probably not getting married in a church) I stared looking at songs to play when I walk down the aisle, would the DJ play the song im assuming, and Im having a tough time because it does not take that long to walk down the aisle but some songs good parts do not start right away, and would it be weird to start a song not from the beginning and do you just cut it off when you get to the altar, or hope there is a break in the music when you get there? Some songs I was looking at are " A moment like this " by Kelly Clarkson, and "From this moment on" by Shania Twain. Thanks.

I really like the idea of doing a song such as a moment like this. I think that is a very good idea. I am having a bagpiper play when I walk down the aisle, I think I am just going to have him play here comes the bride.

Make sure that your DJ can also play music for your ceremony. It is usually a separate fee/booking. Most of them will do it.

Since you won't be walking down a long aisle, maybe just go with a classical or instrumental track...then you don't have to worry about words in the song and the timing. The DJ could fade out a little bit after you arrive at the front, and he could probably wait for a moment in the song that sounds like it concludes the song. Use the other songs at the reception.
