I need to post a comment on here about my wedding dj.Our wedding was at Michael's and they suggested this Dj his name was Benny from Jammin' Sound, and wow are we glad we listened. He is great. He met with me a couple weeks before and we went through the planner. He came dressed in a tuxedo. His voice was great a real dj voice. He was there lining us up for introductions and really made our introductions fabulous. I remember him telling us he would get my guests dancing and he did. He played everything old stuff and new. The dance floor was so packed people had to dance on the carpet.

So if you are looking i highly recommend him!

Our wedding is at Salvatores Italian Gardens and they recommended CJ Sound. Their equipment is built right into the room and we did get a chance to see our DJ in action. They are outstanding! I can't wait.

Has anyone heard of DJ Dre? I also heard bad things about the Saxman Slim.

I have been considering Saxman too, have not decided yet. I think the best way to decide is to actually go watch the DJ you are considering play.

An acquaintance of mine used Saxman Slim and she said he was great, but of course with the comment below it's tough to know for sure.

Stay away from Sax Man. I saw him at a wedding and he was EXTREMELY arrogant. He was playing his music so loud that nobody could enjoy the cocktail hour. The bride & groom asked him to lower the sound and he did for about 5 minutes. Then he'd crank up the volume again. It got to the point where the party house manager had to tell him to turn it down or leave. He was very arrogant about the whole situation.

I used The Wedding Producer for their DJ & Video & photography and couldn't be happier with their service. Their customer service was amazing. Every time I called or emailed, I got a response within 24 hours. They are a smaller company so I got very persoanlized service. The owners Peter & Mark are very friendly, extremely down to earth and very charming.

We are using Phenomenon Sound for our DJ & Video and they come highly recommended at our banquet facility (Samuel's Grand Manor). We really like the customization they are doing for us and we are getting up lights as well. I don't know much about the sax guy except I saw him at bridal show.
