A Dry-Cleaning Costs Heads up for all the brides!!!!!

So our wedding is over with and i finally got around to calling around the area for prices on cleaning for the gown!
Im going to sell my gown, so I don't want to preserve it, but I got that price too so we could have it.
Does anyone have the name of a place around here that runs Cheaper for us all to use???

Massaro Cleaners - Cheektowaga - $157.80 Cleaned & Bagged or $350.00 Cleaned & Preserved

Mr DS Cleaners -Cheektowaga- $120 Bagged, or $180 Boxed

Reads Cleaners - Williamsville - $75-100 Bagged or $125-175 Preserved (depending on how much beading or sequence etc you have)

Executive Cleaners in Amherst is the cheapest one i could find - $30 Bagged or $100 Boxed

If anyone has a referral for us to use please list!! I had no idea it would have cost so much!

try Dyed to Match - sue

I had my dress done there, and it was really reasonalble, I wanted it boxed and preserved so it was like 109, but they are really helpful and i bet if you dont want the whole preservation package you could easily just have the cleaning done... I know they used Bridal Kare, and it was cheaper to go to dyed to match then straight to BridalKare for the cleaning@ good luck

Chaybans at the Mckinley Mall is great in both cleaning and alterations for anyone looking for great service. I had both alterations and cleaning done there and cannot complain about either... there prices are reasonable but sometimes its not about the price its the quality of there work!!

Research What Chemicals are Used!

Dry cleaning chemicals easily seep through concrete - consider what it does to your body. As a heads-up, spend the extra money and use a "green" dry cleaner. Although, before you do that, ask what chemicals they use and then do the research yourself on the internet - a quick search should tell you what you need to know. Working at an Environmental company, this was the first lesson that I've learned. Also, don't buy a house next to a dry cleaning facility...
