Has anyone ever worked with Sam from Affordable Photography or Stephanie Burns Images? Any comments would be appreciated!!

Today is Valentines day and guess what I just got engaged. Last night at dinner he proposed and I said yes. Now I start to plan. First to the Historical Society for the ceremony & reception then over to Mike at A LakeView Photo & Video. Mike did my sisters wedding last year. After I saw her completed album and video my mind was made up then who my photographer would be. Mike made us all feel relaxed during the day and it showed in the pictures. I also think his pricing for what you get is very reasonable compared to others. He has a maturity that most of the other photographers my sister and I meet with last year did not and it showed by his work ethic at her wedding. I cannot wait to do the engagement shoot. Mel

After attending the Walden bridal show and then meeting with Mike at his studio I booked with Lakeview photo & video last weekend . Of all the photographers at the show they offered us the best deal. I took a sampling of all the photographers pricing and they were right in the middle of the price range. They also were not pushy and both my fiance and I loved the artistic style of photographs. Tara, I think you are sadly mistaken. Wozniak Photography although having been in business for years is not a good as other photographers in the area. It is not a coincidence that all three reception halls recommend them. It is because they get a finders fee for the referral. If you do decide to book with them make sure you meet the photographer & see the work of the photographer that will be at your wedding. The owner rarely will do a job on his own and if you look at his web site and pricing you will see he charges more if he goes, What does that tell you about the other people he sends out ? He is telling you that you get what you pay for.
I agree with the other posts if you want quality go with a known photographer who will do the wedding themselves.
I would recommend the advertisers on this web site who have no park timers involved. Good luck

I tell you what, when looking for a hall I looked at Lucarellis, Brierwood Country club, and Samuels Grande Manor. I found it odd that all three recommended Wozniak Photography. I was totally sold when our DJ and cake place also reccommended them. I ended up using them for our wedding this past summer and we were 150% happy with everything. I have recommended them to so many friends and family members and they all are happy. Wait till you meet the owner, he really knows this business, and what great prices ! !

I would check the better business bureau (sp?) see what kind of record they have.

I agree though Expressions has a great rep and who I chose..pictures are where the memoires are so find a good one!

I don't think the two are comparable. Either you want a normal photographer like Sam or you want an artistic photographer like Stephanie. I would go with Priore or Expressions if you have more money though.

Sam is a hack. He was theworst videographer, now he is trying to make it in photography. He should be named Bad photography cheep
