Cheap Photographer???

im not the typical who wants a photographer following her around all day. I want someone for a couple hours(2-3)? i want to spend like maybe $600. Please help???

We just booked A Lakeview Photography to do our photography & video for our wedding next June 2010. We looked at so many places some cheap and some ridiculous but lakeview photography's style and value were not to be compared to. I did my photography research on this site and I am so happy I found what I wanted. Keep up the good work Buffalo Wedding.Com

Just want to let you all know that I went with KA Photography. I got my engagement pictures done through her first! I wanted to get an idea on how good my pictures were going to come out. They were wonderful she had such great ideas,a great personality and she made us feel so comfortable and I think that had such a big impact on how they turned out! Ive been to weddings were the photographers were mean to the wedding party and all the guest and that was a big fear of mine! Now I know I have one less thing to worry about on such an important day

In regards to recent comments in this thread, I comply to the wishes of the bride and groom each wedding is individual. I do try to clarify with the B &G what they want done and when. My goal is to not have to bother the B & G as much as possible during the reception. I feel that personality is a huge component of capturing the essence of the day.
As for "Tara" and the winking that is just absurd. I'm not out to lose business and I am happily married.

I met with Kristy and agree with tara. She comes across a little to aggressive. We decided not to book with her on her personality alone. We did not want a photographer who was going to tell us what to do all day. It is our day so we just wanted a photographer to capture candid moments and stay out of the way. I also did not think her pricing was very low. we decided on using Sloan Photo Studio for our wedding. The pricing was low and in our budget.

I have booked her for my wedding this year and she was nothing but professional. We met she helped us with hours and how things need to go. Gave us a list of places to get pictures. She payed way more attention to me with what photos I want and actually joke with my Fiance about making sure he does his part for the wedding. She is friendly but not out to steal your fiance. My fiance Bill and I meet with Kristy at K.A Photography last fall. She was hitting on bill while we were discussing the wedding. Gina is right meet with the photographers you do need to like them if they are spending the day with you! Bill and I got into a big fight that day because he thought it was funny she winked at him. We ended up going to Countryside Photography a little more expensive but Bill had no choice after that little stunt by Kristy also their albums were beautiful!

Kristy is not by any means cheap i would say reasonable. Her work is beautiful her albums are beautiful! We didn't need 8 hours we only needed 2 and she was willing to compromise and help us out. We only wanted an album for ourselves not our parents since we are paying for it. She helped us out. So we didn't need to spend $4000 on stuff we DIDNT need. I met with Mike and I didn't like him. I got along with Kristy.
Ladies please do meet with the photographers you do need to like them if they are spending the day with you!

Cheap is cheap. Cost or quality what is it to be?
We met with Mike at Lakeview Photography a very well known wedding photographer in the WNY area. Mike is not CHEAP and has great quality. Check out his web site www.alakeviewphotography.com. When we spoke to him about a 3 hour coverage wedding he worked out a fair deal with us. A professional photographer at a reasonable price. Not a cheap photographer at a cheap price!

I met with Dave at Wozniak Photography, and although his packages started at $1299. I explained that I needed smaller coverage, and he worked out a package for $699 that included all the proofs. He was willing to work with whatever I wanted, and although it was a December Wedding, he told me to give him my price range and he would put something together in whatever price range I wanted to spend.

We used Sloan Photo Studio for our wedding. The gentleman was very accomodating to our needs and the photographer was very professional but fun. We love our pictures and the prices are the best we seen anywhere in WNY. We had friends who used them as well and they too say he is the best. Good Luck.

We met with Kristy a month ago she is great! Her work is beautiful and her prices are by far more affordable she worked with us to build the perfect package. Definitely recommend her!

K.A. Photography has packages but will also work with you for what you want. I was the same way. I need 3 hrs. She was great her prices were AWESOME! Call her!!! www.kaphotography.net
