Dress Dilema

Well the first item I got for the big day was my wedding dress... I got it at Davids. My MOH and I have been looking for bridesmaid dresses and not a single time have I even glanced at another wedding dress cuz I thought I already had THE ONE... well I found another dress that stopped me dead in my tracks. It was GORGEOUS and completely different than the first dress... I tried it on which I know I shouldn't have but fell in love with it!!! We went back and tried on my original dress and feel like it didn't do me any justice... the 2nd one is the ONE!!! Now I just need some advice as to how I can unload the 1st one cuz Davids doesn't do returns... HELP!! Some people suggested EBAY... never did it though?!?

Ebay is the best way to go and its easy. Or you can try Craigslist

Can someone tell me which is more important to get done first? Flowers/centerpieces or cake? Also, if you have any ideas on who is cheap!!! Thank you!

Thank you to everyone for the info... I still wanted my Mom to see dress #2 on (it by Bonny I believe its #819). I'm going to try to go to Davids and speak with them in person instead of over the phone. I'll let you know the outcome. But if I get the 2nd dress the shop with give me and my bridesmaids 10% off - since the girls dresses are there.

try and return it my sister did and they took it back-not easily but eventually. or try craigs list/ebay. not sure bout this biz by nikita sounds wierd. better off going where all the internet traffic is.

Yes I do have my own business but if you read my last comment it didnt have anything to do with my service! As I am a soon to be bride myself, I think I have the right to give my opinion when it come to ebay or craigslist! Im sorry if your offended but the comment wasnt left for you! And also if she is trying to find something to do with he rother dress vendor or not I can make a recommendation, and I was recoomending her to ebay! Ughh...Anyway which ever of the two you pick to sale your dress, I hope it sale easily.

I cant stand it when vendors stampede a board! Isnt this for brides only? I think Nikia is a vendor beware! They shoudlnt be allowed to be on here..

The great thing with ebay is the person buying the dress pays for the shipping, and craigslist it mainly at the person discresion. Both sites are really good all you need to do is take a really good picture of the dress and upload it onto one of the sites..

I would definitely list it either on ebay or craigslist. Craigslist is free and I check it all the time for stuff. Nikia's suggestion is also a good one. I wouldn't stress about it though, I am sure someone out there is looking for the dress you bought at a slightly lower price.

well davids ae sticklers on the return thing its hard to return unless there is a problem with it. where did u get the 2nd one? if tis at davids as well they may do a switch f there are no alterations. talk to the mgr.
