Storing Wedding Dress BEFORE Wedding

I have a question regarding the best way to store my wedding dress before my wedding. I found my dress on sale and left the bridal shop with the dress the same day. My only concern is that my wedding isn't until July 17,2010! The dress has a lot of detail and beading. How can I make sure the beads and the dress itself remain in the same condition? I don't plan on doing alterations until about three months prior to our date.

Hello! i bought my dress in may 2008 and my wedding isn't until september 2009. I was given a cloth bag to keep it in, and also I was told to wrap it in a white sheet. So I did that and have it haning in a dark closet with the top of the bag open about an inch or so for air. :)

I heard you could wrap it in a white sheet or blue tissue paper. something about keeping the authentic color. anyone else heard this?? or tried it? please post : )
