what are you paying?

ok so we just bought a house had a baby and also have one other child now we want to get married......so what are you guys paying for thing i think i am booking marygold manor its about 33 pp and they do alot for you includeing you wedding its self any one have theres there or been to one there? also what can i expect to pay for cake??? that one hase me thrown we have about 175 guest attending i was guessing about 2.50 pp when it comes to cakes am i way off?

Did we ever get the answer to where the DJ was only $350?

Wolters Bakery has been the best tasting cake i have found and you get more cake for your buck. I am only paying 600 bucks for a 280 person cake. From the paper i have its $350 for a 4 tier cake that will feed 140-180 guests.
I am also using Entertainment Plus for my DJ i got 6 hours for 400 bucks. I am using the statler for my reception so i have cut corners in cost else where.

We opted for a Sunday wedding, We received a great deal at Michaels Banquet in Hamburg. I am only paying 32$ a person , 2 meats and 4 hours open bar, they also have a cheaper package available if interested.
We also are having LakeView Photography do our pictures and video. The picture part of the wedding was very important to us and Mike at LakeView Photography gave us a great deal.

Hey Lisa where did you find a DJ for $350?

I am having mine on a friday as well. which saved a HUGE amount of money. i am paying 425 for a hummer limo for 4 hrs @Advantage Limo. $34.45 for buffet w/ 5 hrs top shelf open bar @ Lucerellis. I did go on the higher end for a $700 custom cake. and $350 for a dj for 5 hrs entertainment plus.

Michaels Banquet in Hamburg is very nice and reasonable. The package that I have for my June 2009 includes the DJ.

When I priced out reception halls about 1 year ago, 33 pp was the cost for most buffets with open bar i found. So, have your reception where you dreamt of, and do a buffet instead of a sit down dinner for 50pp.

Cake places are averaging 4.00 pp

I am getting married on friday which is a huge money savor, you honestly save on photography, limo and banquet hall. I am having my reception at Kiebzaks in Cheektowaga sloan, it so beauitful there and the food is excellent, its also a nice small family owned resturant. I am only paying 27$ a person for family style buffet, 2 meats and 4 hours open bar, they also have a cheaper package available.

is marrygold manor in Lancaster close to depew? if that is the place i am thinking about, i really dont care for the place. My friend had a wedding there. during her wedding there was another wedding going on in the next door, there was no privacy at all. the design was so empty, only one single flower in each table. we could not believe the food. if you feel comfortable with the place then go for it.

I went to a wedding there and didnt care for it...kinda old and waaay too many fake flowers around
