NEED HELP!!!

I am getting married in aug. 08. My fiance wants to do the reception at er mother's house. I want to do a more formal reception. I need ideas for every aspect.

Meet in the middle- a more laid back reception at a garden grove/botantial garden/museum. Some wineries (Finger Lakes) also have some wedding packages...it all depends how many people you plan on inviting.

It all depends on what you and your fiance want and how many people you plan on inviting. A house is fine for a small wedding, but if you want to have something larger, you're going to have to rent a hall. Are you thinking of a backyard wedding? That's nice, but I have always feared outdoor weddings because you never know what the weather will do.
