Reception at the Statler Towers

Does anyone have information about a reception at the Statler Towers? Any information would be appreciated.

I had my wedding there last August and it was absolutely wonderful!!! I am a little confused by the food comments posted by the others. We had a combination chicken and beef entree and it was the talk of the wedding!! I didn't talk to a single person who didn't like the food. I'd definitely recommend it, especially the Terrace Room.

We went to a wedding there November 06 and I didn't care for the food. It was Park Lane and I had steak with a demi glace that was off tasting. It was a gorgeous site - I believe we were in the terrace room. It's very concrete and cold looking ... and temperature wise, it was actually cold in there as well. I think the Statler is great for a large wedding. I'd say there were at least 200 at this wedding, and the ballroom still looked too big. (Probably didn't help that we were on the other side of the room from where the wedding party was sitting). If your budget is that big and it is a summer wedding, I might lean toward the Avanti Mansion. Have you seen their website? Everything looks gorgeous.

I have attended an event there and the food was great. The ballrooms are just beautiful. I would check it out and ask them about the food quality.

I am sorry to say that I have not heard any good comments of late on the food there, but they did close their restaurant and maybe with the new Statler management it is getting better.
