Avanti Mansion

There have been a couple of posts about it. Does anyone have anymore detailed information.
I will be going there tomorrow for a tour and just want to be prepared.
Besides that any other thoughts about unique reception places with a lot of character?
Thanks!

SIMPLY AMAZING - Amanda & Jon Hoffman

We got married at the Avanti Mansion on July 30th, 2011. We had our ceremony outside behind the Amore Ballroom, our cocktail hour took place in the library, and our reception was in the Amore Ballroom. I cannot even begin to describe how amazing and perfect our day was! The Avanti Mansion staff was outstanding! Absolutely nothing went wrong. From the moment the girls arrived at 4:00pm we were treated like royalty. The bridal suite host, Barb, was incredible!! She took care of me all night long and was as sweet as could be. The ceremony was outstanding. All of our guests raved about the appetizers served during cocktail hour. We had the deluxe sit-down dinner option and it was incredible. The food was delicious the servers were professional, quick, and extremely friendly. The ballroom looked perfect! The staff set it up exactly like I asked them to. I really cannot put into words how amazing and perfect our wedding was. I would highly recommend the Avanti Mansion to everyone I know - especially the Amore ballroom.

We worked exclusively with Cheryl and she is absolutely amazing! She is friendly, professional, and will go out of her way to make all your dreams come true. We paid to have Cheryl with us all night long and it was money that was very well spent! She worked hard all night to make sure everything went perfectly! I highly recommend Cheryl!!!!

We used many of the services provided by the Avanti Mansion, such as: their florist, their DJ (Kenny), and their Pastor (Dave). I was beyond happy with all of their services. DJ Kenny was fantastic! Our guests were seriously impressed and so were we. I honestly couldn't have pictured our wedding day going any better.

THANK YOU AVANTI MANSION STAFF, ESPECIALLY CHERYL & BARB!

If you are looking for tradition with a twist this is the place for you. I can not believe how beautiful it is. With only 1 event a day you really feel like it is your special day. The staff is extremely helpful and make it almost impossible to imagine anything going wrong. I can't wait for August 15th.

Avanti Mansion food tasting

Our wedding is in august of this year at the Avanti Mansion. We just attended the food tasting last saturday. Everything was AMAZING. Not only was the food better than we expected but having the florist, dj, and minister there really helped us make some important decisions. The staff has been extremley helpful with assisting me in planning my reception. I can not wait! August cant come fast enough!!!!

They've been GREAT!

We fell in love with the Avanti Mansion last year and booked it for our 2009 wedding. Now that the holidays are over, we are beginning to plan things with them and they've been GREAT!!! No problems at all!! Their food tasting event is next weekend, so I'll try to re-post and let you know how is was, but I've heard a lot of good things about their food.

Avanti Mansion - We booked it! - 2009 Bride

My fiance and I went there last week to tour the grounds and were blown away!! It's gorgeous!! I've heard GREAT things about the food and service too. (A friend of mine attended a wedding there last summer and said it was awesome.)

We met with one of the wedding planners, who was very helpful and willing to work within our budget. She even emailed us a brochure that had several menus and pricing in it. Prices are comparable to most places in Buffalo we looked. And we booked a Friday wedding and got a bunch of stuff FREE!!

They have beautiful places for ceremonies too - check out their Japanese Garden. We fell in love with it!!

If you are having a problem reaching them, keep trying. It's well worth it!! And FYI - they are closed on Mondays.

Help!

My fiance and I are trying to figure out where we want to have our reception next July (2009). We both really like the Delaware Casino, but Rich's Atrium and Avanti mansion also look beautiful. I am just nervous about their prices. Does anyone know how much these places are? My fiance and I are paying for this ourselves so we are concerned about finances. Thanks so much!

I've heard a lot of good things about this place, but I am having a hard time with them. I'm a customer who is seriously considering Avanti, and it seems as though they are trying to make it hard for us. The menu was a secret, they would not give me a hard copy to review and choose our entre's, you can only put down a deposit in person...and so on and so on. If we still use them, I'm very skeptical about the next year leading up.

Avanti Mansion - New MRS.

My wedding was at the Avanti Mansion just this past month and it was everything I imagine and more!!! The food was AWESOME and the service was exceptional. They were extremely helpful during the planning process too.

I got married in the Japenese garden and it was incredible!!! My photos are breathtaking!!! As for the chair situation, they can, and will, set up more chairs if you'd like. I actually had 100 chairs. Just ask.

Our guests are still talking about it. Many have said that it was THE BEST WEDDING they have ever been too!

I'd HIGHLY RECCOMMEND the Avanti Mansion.

I have attended two weddings at the Avanti Mansion- I will say two things- the stations at the daytime wedding I went to, just average- the last wedding (which was actually last weekend) was FANTASTIC. The live grill and food were delicious, the staff was attentive and helpful. Be warned that they will ID younger guests, and also be aware that the don't accomodate a lot of seating for the weddings... fifty chairs max in the japanese gardens, and I had to stand at the other one. If you have an overly big crowd you might want to consider another ceremony site and have your reception here.
