Tipping Vendors

Does anyone know or have any suggestions on how much to tip your vendors?

Generally speaking the limo should be tipped 20% of the total of your limo's if you read your contract it will tell you that.

Never tip a photographer or a videographer since you really don't know what your end product will turn out to be.

DJ should be tipped according to their performance. And wedding planners should also be tipped they are giving you a service.

Because it is a service. You are paying a lot more to the banquet hall, they just add 18-20 for you. You should tip everyone who has performed a service for you no mater what the cost of the service is. If they do a good job for you.

I want to know why if I am already going to be paying my photographer 2500 and dj almost 1000 why I should still have to tip him on top of that? They're prices are already jacked up.. ??

My wedding planner said a $50 tip is appropriate for your service people like photographer, videographer, dj. Banquet staff tip is usually added to the bill. If not 15 to 20% is appropriate. Our limo company told us what the tip should be (about $100 for us).
