Budget location needed, Delaware Prk no longer available

My best friend is planning a wedding next winter 08. She wanted the casino at Delaware PArk in Bflo. but has just learned it is no longer avaiable for 08 reservations. Does anyone have a simular location we could look at. They are paying for the wedding themselves so every $$$ counts.

My financee and I have booked the Casino for Sept. of 08. They've cashed the deposit check just a few weeks ago. The catering is up in the air, but they are booking for 08'.

Try Michaels in Hamburg. It is so pretty, and very affordable. The buffet starts at $24.00 with 4 hours of open bar.They have a web site for tours etc www.michaelswny.com I looked at every venue in the county and did not find a place that could match price/decor

Well it all depends on how many people u r looking for and what exactly u mean by budget. I can suggest that anywhere u look, Fridays & Sundays are going to be the best bet. I am getting married at Glen Oak and it is gorgeous as well as a good price.
If you go to their websit www.glenoak.com and click on Banquet facilities, there menu and pricing is posted as a PDF file. For a sunday wedding it is $31.95 and a friday wedding package is $32.95 per person. That includes 4 hours open bar, cheese fruit & veggie tray, wine or champagne toast for all guests, and the classic buffet or any served dinner under $19.95.
The inside is decorated with grape vines and is gorgeous! I actually stopped there last week and took pictures of the dining room set up for a wedding. If anyone wants to see them just email me at nici2036@aol.com

You need to be more specific. It all depends on the number of guests she is anticipating. Is it a large wedding, or a smaller, more intimate gathering? That will ultimately determine the locations that people could suggest.
